The Law of 7 Dogs is an original animated series about one woman, seven Yorkies, law school, entrepreneurship, and the absolute chaos that comes with trying to manage all of it at the same time.
Inspired by real life, the series follows Michele and her seven very different dogs as they build a life together in the mountains of Virginia.
But they didn’t start out as a family of eight.
There were two dogs at first. Then four. And after one particularly consequential series of events…there were seven.
Meanwhile, Michele is navigating law school, running businesses, creating new projects, chasing ridiculously big ideas, and attempting to maintain some semblance of order in a house where she is very clearly outnumbered.
Inspired by real events, each episode turns moments from Michele’s life with the pack into animated stories—from moving to a tiny town in the Appalachian Mountains for law school to becoming a content creator, pursuing new ideas, navigating unexpected challenges, and figuring things out along the way.
And then there are the dogs.
Each member of the pack has a distinct personality, with their own habits, quirks, alliances, rivalries, and a very different interpretation of who actually runs the household.
Some episodes tell the story of how this unlikely family of eight came together. Others follow the adventures that happen once they do.
Funny, heartfelt, occasionally ridiculous, and grounded in real life, The Law of 7 Dogs is ultimately about creating a life on your own terms.
